Do you have project management expertise?
We will be setting up a network of project interventions in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, the tribal belt of Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, and the eastern region of Uttar Pradesh. We seek volunteers who have the following skills:
- Identify NGOs in India
- Help set up on-site project operations
- Manage and monitor the operation, which may include but not be limited to providing assessment, monetary control, and organizational support to the local entities
- Visit the local operations
Can you assist with research?
After funding hundreds of projects over the last 40 years, IDS has an enviable record in successful development activities. We want to assess the longer-term effects of our interventions and create best-practice methodologies for NGOs to follow.
IDS plans to develop a series of research papers related to agriculture and environment, disaster mitigation and relief, education and training, empowerment, health care, and income generation. We seek individuals with both qualitative and quantitative research skills for a range of disciplines including education, health care, public policy, economics, and business.
Do you have social media skills?

IDS plans to produce and publish a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual newsletter. We seek individuals interested in getting involved in producing our newsletter.
