India Development Service (IDS) is a nonprofit, non-political, and secular organization supporting economic and social development in India .
Health
IDS has supported a number of projects related to health care including AIDS, health education, and malnutrition. IDS has supported Maternity and Child Welfare Center in Bihar to provide medical help for the “special risk group” in order to improve their general health and reduce infant and maternal mortality. More recently we have supported Save-A-Mother program in U.P, which works to reduce maternal mortality.
