Abstract

This project provided small loans and financial support to underserved individuals and families, helping them start or expand income-generating activities and improve their economic well-being.

Detailed Description

The Microcredit Program aimed to empower low-income individuals and families by providing access to affordable credit for livelihood development. Through small loans, beneficiaries were able to invest in activities such as agriculture, livestock rearing, small businesses, handicrafts, and other entrepreneurial ventures that generate sustainable income. The program helped participants overcome financial barriers, reduce dependence on high-interest informal lending, and build greater financial stability. By supporting self-employment and income generation, the initiative strengthened household livelihoods, encouraged entrepreneurship, and promoted long-term economic self-reliance within vulnerable communities. In addition to financial assistance, the program fostered responsible financial management and community-based development, enabling beneficiaries to improve their quality of life and create better opportunities for their families.
