This project improved the health and educational opportunities of rag picker children by providing preventive healthcare and preparing them for successful enrollment in government schools.

The project focused on supporting children from rag picker communities through an integrated program of healthcare and education. Children received preventive healthcare services, regular health check-ups, nutrition and hygiene education, helping improve their overall health and well-being. Alongside healthcare support, the initiative prepared children for enrollment in government schools by providing foundational education, early learning, and academic support. The program helped children develop the knowledge, confidence, and readiness needed to transition into the formal education system. By addressing both health and education, the project created stronger opportunities for children to lead healthier lives and achieve long-term academic success.
