This project improved access to quality education for tribal children by providing learning support, educational resources, and opportunities that promote long-term academic success and personal development.

The Tribal Education Project, implemented by the Lions Family Planning Welfare Trust with support from IDS, focused on expanding educational opportunities for children from underserved tribal communities. The initiative aimed to improve school enrollment, attendance, and learning outcomes by addressing barriers that often prevent tribal children from accessing quality education. The project provided academic support, educational materials, and a nurturing learning environment that encouraged children to remain in school and continue their education. Alongside classroom learning, students were supported in developing life skills, confidence, and awareness, helping them build a strong foundation for future success. By promoting education among tribal communities, the project empowered children with the knowledge and skills needed to improve their future opportunities while contributing to the long-term social and economic development of their communities.
