IDS funds were used to purchase an ambulance to transport COVID patients during the second wave of the pandemic in India.

IDS provided funds to Shraddha to purchase an ambulance as the second wave of COVID was ongoing. While legally registering the vehicle delayed the timeline for using the vehicle for COVID patients, they were able to make use of it to bring individuals to the Ahmednagar Center for vaccinations. Additionally, they were able to make use of the ambulance while transportation strikes were ongoing in Maharashtra to attend to stranded mentally ill patients and reunite them with their families.
