This project strengthened preventive healthcare through self-help groups by promoting health awareness, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention in rural communities.

The project empowered self-help groups to serve as community health advocates by providing training on preventive healthcare, personal hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, maternal and child health, safe drinking water, and the prevention of common diseases. Equipped with this knowledge, members shared health information within their communities and encouraged healthier lifestyles. Through awareness campaigns, community meetings, and health education activities, the initiative promoted early disease prevention, improved healthcare-seeking behavior, and strengthened community participation in public health. By leveraging the reach and leadership of self-help groups, the project contributed to healthier families, improved well-being, and stronger, more resilient rural communities.
