This project strengthened preventive healthcare by empowering self-help groups to promote health awareness, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention within their communities.

The project empowered self-help groups to become community health champions by providing training in preventive healthcare, personal hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, maternal and child health, and the prevention of common diseases. Equipped with this knowledge, members conducted awareness activities and encouraged healthier practices among families in their villages. Through community outreach, health education sessions, and local leadership, the initiative promoted early disease prevention, improved healthcare-seeking behavior, and increased awareness of healthy lifestyles. By building the capacity of self-help groups, the project created a sustainable community-based healthcare network that strengthened public health and improved the overall well-being of rural communities.
