This project strengthened preventive healthcare practices through self-help groups by promoting health awareness, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention within rural communities.

The project worked with self-help groups to improve community health through preventive healthcare education and awareness. Members received training on personal hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, maternal and child health, safe drinking water, and the prevention of common diseases, enabling them to share this knowledge within their communities. By empowering self-help groups as local health advocates, the initiative promoted healthy practices, encouraged early intervention, and improved access to basic health information. The project strengthened community participation in healthcare, helping families adopt healthier lifestyles, reduce preventable illnesses, and improve overall well-being while building long-term community resilience.
