IDS funds grass-roots projects in India that create empowerment in the community and social change from the ground up. IDS believes in opportunity and not charity. If your organization subscribes to this philosophy and If you wish to apply for IDS grant, you must meet the following basic criteria:

a) The organization must be secular and non political

b) Organization should be a duly registered as a non-profit organization in India or in the USA as a 501 (C) 3 ( for working towards a cause in India)

If you wish to get a grant application, please submit your request to info@idsusa.org with no more than 500 words of purpose of the request for funds, and provide link to your website or organization collateral.
