As of August 24, IDS is accepting donations toward long-term disaster relief and rehabilitation projects to aid those who have been affected by this summer’s floods in Kerala. The IDS board members met on August 22 and agreed to raise funds for this purpose. Rather than contribute to ongoing and immediate aid efforts, the IDS board has chosen to fund long-term recovery projects in Kerala. Letters will be mailed out to IDS supporters soon, but it’s possible to donate now through PayPal online or to mail in donation checks.
