IDS Participates in WBEZ’s Global Activism Event

India Development Service has been invited to participate in WBEZ’s Global Activism Event series hosted by Jerome McDonnell and the Worldview team. Global Activism: India will take place on Friday, February 28 from 4:00–9:00 p.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street, Chicago, IL 60602. The event is free and everyone is invited to attend. For more information, go to https://www.wbez.org/global-activism-india-109660. Join us for a panel discussion India: Lessons in Development and meet IDS volunteers and board members. Since 1974, IDS has been a catalyst that assisted more than 150 projects in 22 states in India with the support of over two million dollars in financial contributions. We support projects related to education, health care, environment, income generation, and development of social activists. Visit https://idsusa.orgcurrent-projects/ for more information on our projects. Because of our involvement in a wide range of projects over the past 40 years, IDS representatives have regularly participated in WBEZ’s Global Activism Event series. We are pleased to participate in this year’s event Global Activism: India as we begin to celebrate our 40th year of service.
